U7's On Tour

U7's On Tour
U7's On Tour Participating in an international tournament only eight months from their first competitive game is rapid progress for 18 under 7s tourists. Coaches have encouraged an inclusive, everyone plays, everyone contributes, play-in-the-right-spirit ethos and it was great to watch independent match referees validate this in games with snappy passing, energetic running and committed tagging. This was some of …

U14 Ostend Rugby Tour: Belgians, Beers & Big Wins
The coach rolled out of the main carpark at 5am sharp Saturday am—some parents barely awake, others already dreaming of Belgian beer (dreams that swiftly became reality). There was a brief stop at Clacket Lane Services to purchase an inflatable dinosaur (why?) before we embarked on our ferry to Calais. The rugby? Three games, three wins: our boys meant business. …

U13's Tour To Gloucester

The U13s boys team had a very successful trip to Gloucester. They played against Worcester RFC and Marlborough RFC, winning the games 15-35 and 10-40 respectively with some excellent rugby. The boys also played Zorb football (unsurprisingly no parents signed up for this one!) and everyone had a great time go-karting (with some parents showing their true competitive colours). However, …
