Congratulations!

Minis have had a successful run of Middlesex festivals held at Rosslyn Park, Teddington, Ruislip and we ourselves hosed the U9s.

Although smaller than previous years it was nonetheless a roaring success and everyone full of praise for an excellently run festival!

Thanks to James, Jane and Jonathan for organising!

A few age groups visited the Beaconsfield Festival which was a fun, mud bath filled way to spend Mothers’ Day!!!!

Smiles all around!!

A entertaining weekend away for both the men’s and women’s teams.
The Ealing Trailfinders Men had a close match on Saturday narrowly going down to Coventry 34-32. We had opportunities to come away with the win but unfortunately couldn’t pull it off.

The Trailfinders Women had successful trip north, coming away with 5 points from match and beating Sale Sharks 26-10.

Both teams have a rest this weekend and recover to get ready for the back end of the season.

With a resounding 41-5 win against Wasps Amateurs, Ealing Trailfinders 1871 have clinched promotion to level 7 in the rugby pyramid. With fixtures against Hendon and Brunel University on the horizon, the club is now setting its sights on securing a league title.

Speaking about the achievement, 1st XV captain Lewis Steadman expressed immense pride in the efforts of the whole club. “I’m really, really proud of the work the squad and the wider club has put in this season to achieve this.

“We came into this season with our minimum objective being to secure promotion having felt we let ourselves down last year to just miss out on it. It’s great to get the box ticked but the work continues as there are more objectives we hope to fulfil!

“I would like to thank everyone who’s pulled on a 1st XV jersey this season, everyone who’s been down at training working hard and helping us to improve and also all those doing the hard unseen work which makes our lives at this club easier.

“There’s lots of rugby left to be played this season but this now gives us a great platform to build some momentum off going into the final few games and onto pre-season and beyond!”
