Youth Section Update
Girls Youth: Two defeats for the u14Gs today at Finchley against strong opposition in Welwyn and the host side. One special moment was the girls getting to meet Red Rose Kelsey Clifford who’d brought her world cup winning medal from last weekend along!
Colts: Lost 10-65. We had another tough match in which we took on the current holders Rossyln Park in the National U18 Cup. Our lads gave a great account of themselves in the first half and were right in the game at half-time but unfortunately, we couldn’t maintain those levels for the whole game and RP ran out comfortable winners in the end.
U15s: Div 1 lost 12-21 to Harpenden A’s. Very bad day at the office. Harpenden were strong and well drilled but we did not show up at all unfortunately. Bizarre after a very strong win against Amersham last weekend.
U15 Div 4: Narrowly lost 26-24 away to Bishop’s Stortford B’s. Played with heart and soul, battled hard and very nearly got the win but it wasn’t to be.
U14Bs: Won 57-7 against Bishops Stortford B’s. A’s game rescheduled to this weekend.
U13s: Won their first league game away against Chess Valley 55:25. The boys put in a very strong performance, played as a team and were rewarded with a great win!
