The annual panto is taking place on the 17th of December, traditionally performed by the U10 coaches, who happily share their acting talent 😄

Last year’s rendition was performed by the current u11s and was a wonderful sight for sore eyes, performing a previously unknown version of Cinderella never before seen… and hopefully never to be seen again.

Listen to 1871’s interview with Abdou Traore in which we bid farewell to our favourite Frenchman.

The recently establish Girl’s Youth Section continues to build its numbers on the back of regular training sessions every Wednesday and one competitive fixture so far this season – a fantastic 8-all draw against an U12 cluster side from Enfield/Old Grammarians.
The Ealing Trailfinders Girl’s Youth Section is a unique part of the club guided by Chair, Adrian Hobbs and it is slowly evolving alongside the professional women’s structure, the amateur women’s team and the schools programme at Ealing Trailfinders. The Girls Youth Section has an ambitious objective to firmly provide a viable pathway for all girls to transition from Minis rugby to girls only youth grades and then onto women’s rugby at Ealing Trailfinders.
Starting up back in a bleak, snowy January 2023 with just two committed girls each Wednesday we now have 25 girls spanning Year 6 to Year 9 from a number of local schools. Head Coach Pete Farr’s squad are enthusiastically laying the foundations ahead of a number of planned joint training’s  and competitive fixtures in the second half of the season.
We are happy to welcome any new girls players along on Wednesday nights 7-8pm. Please contact James Connolly on girlsrugby@ealingrugby.co.uk or Gavin Coutts on membership@ealingrugby.co.uk

For the second year running, we will be holding a Christmas Raffle in order to raise funds for Rugby Equipment.

Last year was a great success, with enough tickets being sold to cover the cost of the Junior Scrum Machine and Veo Camera. The generosity of people within the community to either donate, help out or purchase tickets was heart-warming. It was also an event which brought our rugby community together with each of the Youth age groups participating one way or another.

The winner of the main prize was one of our U13 players, who went to the England v France game at Twickenham on his birthday!

Listen to 1871’s interview with full-back Josh Steadman. Find out why he’s been part of the club since first coming along as a six-year-old and much more.
